Mapping Arts and Culture in Western Sydney aims to inform NSW Government consideration of possible strategies, policies and investments to support and promote future arts and cultural practice and participation in Western Sydney.
The report, which was prepared by SGS Economics and Planning on behalf of Create NSW, provides an up to date profile of the arts and cultural sector
in Western Sydney, including its current needs and gaps, and identify any future sector trends. Western Sydney has been mapped against relevant economic, social and demographic data from the region. This data can be used to inform the policy and strategic framework so that investment decisions respond to the demands of the growing population, any planned developments and the economic profile of the region.
