Western Sydney and Regional NSW Cultural Infrastructure survey

Create Infrastructure enables a coordinated approach to the cultural infrastructure planning and development needs of NSW.

Since its inception within Create NSW in 2017, Create Infrastructure has:

  • Issued the Cultural Infrastructure Plan 2025+
  • Delivered the Regional Cultural Fund – a $100 million investment in 136 cultural infrastructure projects across Regional NSW, with over 60 of those projects are completed
  • Participated in several place-based planning projects over the past three years with the Greater Sydney Commission to ensure that cultural infrastructure needs are part of planning for the future of these areas
  • Met with Councils and arts organisations across Western Sydney and Regional NSW making us aware of an extensive pipeline of potential cultural infrastructure projects.

To enable us to understand current and future cultural infrastructure projects in Western Sydney and Regional NSW – including projects that are shovel ready – we invite you to take our survey. This information we capture will be used by Create NSW to update its records on the current needs and priorities for cultural infrastructure investment across Western Sydney and Regional NSW.
