Arts Maintenance and Upgrade Program
The NSW Government is investing $120 million as part of an extensive program of upgrade and maintenance work to NSW arts and cultural venues.
The Arts Maintenance and Upgrade program of works will improve the accessibility, sustainability and functionality of the State’s arts and cultural venues.
This investment is part of the NSW Government’s stimulus package and provides valuable and immediate economic stimulus, with projects that will create new jobs and facilitate the preservation of existing jobs.
The works include venue upgrades including safety, critical maintenance and building upgrades at various venues including the the State Library of NSW, and Create NSW’s own properties including The Gunnery.
