Artists, groups, arts and cultural organisations, collecting organisations and philanthropists across the state can now apply for up to $100,000 in funding to commission ambitious new work through the NSW Government’s $1 million Visual Arts Commissioning Program.

The funding forms part of the NSW Government’s NSW COVID-19 Economic Recovery Plan and will help individual artists and arts and cultural organisations by providing financial security and confidence to plan and deliver new work for exhibiting.

Applications for the Visual Arts Commissioning Program are open to eligible NSW professional artists, groups, arts and cultural organisations, businesses and collecting organisations and philanthropists.

For more information, including guidelines and to apply for funding follow this link.

Applications close at 5pm AEST on Wednesday, 6 April 2022.
