Creative Kids is coming soon
From 2019, NSW parents, guardians and carers of young people can apply for a $100 voucher to use for creative and cultural learning activities outside of the school curriculum.
Creative Kids is a new NSW Government initiative which takes its lead from the hugely successful Active Kids program.
What does it mean for families?
The Creative Kids program will help more young people access important learning opportunities across a range of creative activities.
The $100 voucher can be used towards the cost of participation in, or tuition fees, for activities such as music lessons, drama and theatre, language classes, visual arts, coding and design.
Every NSW school student including those who are home schooled or by distance education, will be eligible for a $100 Creative Kids voucher as well as a $100 Active Kids voucher.
What does it mean for cultural and learning providers?
The Creative Kids program will run similarly to Active Kids.
Creative Kids spans several industry sectors and Service NSW is working with those industry bodies to deliver the program.
