Create NSW welcomes the appointment of accomplished Australian curator and producer, Olivia Ansell as the new Sydney Festival Director for 2022.
Create NSW Executive Director, Chris Keely said “Congratulations to Olivia Ansell on her appointment of Sydney Festival Director from 2022.
“Create NSW is a proud supporter of Sydney Festival and every January we look forward to the inspiring and ground-breaking program of new and contemporary Australian and international works that excite Sydney and interstate audiences.
“Olivia will no doubt bring her deep passion for the arts and incredible breadth of experience to this role and program a bold and memorable festival that defines Sydney’s personality, when Wesley Enoch hands over the baton after he delivers his final festival in January 2021 at the end of his fearless five-year tenure.”
