360 VISION: Virtual Reality Development Initiative for the Arts 2017
The NSW Government, through Create NSW, is offering six grants of up to $20,000 each for professional artists and cultural practitioners to develop virtual reality (VR) work.
The grants are available for a range of NSW based practitioners working across diverse practices; including visual arts, theatre, dance, music, literature, and/or museum practices and we encourage collaborations with VR practitioners.
This initiative will enable artists and cultural practitioners to explore and develop skills in this new field. In collaboration with VR innovators, the artists will develop and extend their audiences through the creation of new immersive VR content.
Selected projects will go through a development phase with input from Australian professionals and mentors. As a final stage, Create NSW will assist successful applicants in identifying potential partners for the completion of projects.
