Regional Cultural Fund
The Regional Cultural Fund has been established by the NSW Government to ensure regional NSW receives its fair share of arts and cultural infrastructure and the associated recreational and educational benefits.
The Fund will invest $100 million over four years to drive growth in arts, screen, cultural and heritage infrastructure for the social, cultural and economic benefit of communities in regional NSW. Up to $25 million is available in the first round of funding.
From 5 December 2017, every applicant will have received a notification regarding the status of their application. Every effort was made to send the notification by email and/or post to as many contacts listed on the application as possible. However, if you have not received your notification please first check with the person who lodged the application through Smarty Grants.
The Cultural Infrastructure Program Management Office will support applicants progressing to Stage Two of the assessment process with additional training and support.

Webinar Information Session
A webinar information session was held on Thursday 14 December at the Lismore Regional Gallery and broadcast live via this website. The webinar informed shortlisted applicants of the requirements for Stage Two. Videos of the three sessions are available to watch below. Email updates will be sent to all shortlisted applicants with frequently asked questions, top tips, training updates and other news about Round One.
In early 2018, training will be provided through teleconferences. Keep an eye out for the weekly updates for the session times and dates. If you have an idea for a teleconference topic, please feel free to let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org.

Once the Stage Two assessment information is submitted, a panel will assess and score the projects against the Regional Cultural Fund’s criteria.
Successful projects will be announced in mid-2018.
The Regional Cultural Fund will support investment in new and upgraded arts and cultural infrastructure, to support the provision of operational funding and to address the significant disparity in the quality and quantity of arts and cultural resources between regional and metropolitan areas.
