Overview
The NSW Musical Theatre Fellowship (Established) is part of a suite of Create NSW Creative Leadership opportunities. The objective of this Fellowship program – delivered in partnership with Hayes Theatre Co, is to provide an opportunity for an established composer and/or writer and/or creative group to write a new work for musical theatre.
The successful applicant or group will receive $25,000 and professional support with industry mentors from Hayes Theatre Co to deliver a full musical – and work towards potential development and presentation opportunities.
The established composer and/or writer or creative group will be selected for the fellowship which will be undertaken within a defined 12 month period between 2 January 2022 and completed by 2 January 2023.
When can I apply for the Fellowship?
Applications open: Friday 20 August 2021.
Applications close: Friday 17 September 2021 at 5:00pm AEST.
